About this Project

Los Reyes is one of the world’s leading blackberry production regions. Evfarmer Capital Limited has established strategic partnerships with multiple blackberry farms in Los Reyes, Michoacán, Mexico. As part of the agreement, Evfarmer will provide over $8 million in financing to support the farms in addressing critical challenges related to funding, technology, production, and sales.

Mexico is one of the largest producers of blackberries globally, with Michoacán being the primary growing region. The state has approximately 10,000 hectares dedicated to blackberry farming, and this area is steadily expanding. Los Reyes is often referred to as the “Blackberry Capital” and plays a vital role in the region’s production, contributing significantly to the state’s total output. The city itself has about 5,000 hectares of blackberry farms, producing 69,600 tons annually, accounting for 40% of Michoacáns total blackberry production.
